Besides shooting the nature and architecture of Iran, Antion had also translated the book "Liebert photography technics" from French into Persian. His photos of Qajar people are valuable not only for ethnographical value but also for its aesthetics. August Sander was a German portrait and documentary photographer. He came in contact the group of progressive photographers who worked on ethno typology in their time. Sander sociological and purposed street photography depicts different classes and professions. His works has sociological value.
The purpose of the research besides introducing, is an adaptive study of typology works of these two photographers. The structural similarities of their typographic works are: usage of rectangular frame, vertical and triangular composition, perspective and depth of field. But they had different approaches. Sanders was to record the identity of people of his own time meanwhile Antoin was to record whole aspects of Iran. Different approaches led to different picture elements such as lights, decoration, gests and models. Sevruguin had manipulated model's but on the other hand Sander took the photos exactly as they were without any manipulation.
