Abstract
Modernity has changed the form of experience, and the whole scope of modern man’s experience can be delineated by everyday life, furthermore, the enormous rate of modern experience as well as the routine everyday activities has amounted to a problematic and paradoxical mode. In the critical theory regarding these major social structures and the common place . The experience of coming across the artwork can be a form of critical awareness of the everyday life situation. Photography too as an artistic act can represent a lifeworld crystallized in the everyday experience of modern man .This was especially highlighted in that tradition of color photography represented by figures like William Eggleston, Stephan Shore, Paul Graham and Alec Soth, however its most prominent example can be found in the photographic tableaux of Jeff Wall. Wall tries through a critique of everyday modern culture and emphasis put upon the critical understanding of contemporary social experience to represent the tensions and problems raised in the contemporary societies and to bring ti light the situation of everyday life in these societies by criticizing their media culture and bureaucratic system.
