Abstract
The Investigation of Effective Factors in Confrontation of Photographers of Contemporary Tabriz with the Medium of PhotographyFashion was one of the most influential aspects of the Western civilisation since the renaissance and Photography had significantly pushed it forward in fashion magazines.
Later, the influence of fashion photography on art through art magazines, grew the trend of artistic fashion photography and encouraged art photographers to penetrate the fashion industry.
In 1990s, fashion photography reached its maturity by benefitting from art photography.
The use of commercial photography techniques by art photographers and the impact of art photography on fashion photography reflected the reciprocal exchange between contemporary art and fashion photography and cinema has played a significant role in this exchange. Fashion photography joined narrative stream very quickly. Therefore, the characters of Hollywood films, especially the characters of the 1950s and 1960s of Hitchcock films, Jean-Luc Godard and Michelangelo Antonioni were constantly reflected in fashion photography.
Miles Aldridge is a well-known fashion photographer and can be considered the next generation after Helmut Newton and Guy Bourdain. The most features of his photographs are narration, surreal scenes, and the use of bright colours.
Among those who influenced his work, Graphic Designer and Illustrator, Alan Aldridge (his father) and filmmakers such as: David Lynch, Federico Fellini and Michelangelo Antonioni can be named.
Here is how Aldridge describes his goal: “My goal is to create images that stop the viewer from flipping through the magazine when the photos are so easily binned.
In this research, despite the various aspects and influences of art history and art style that can be seen in his works, only two aspects of cinema and graphics are discussed. The effect of cinema is examined from both technical and thematic aspects and in graphics, we deal with the component of the level of brightness and the effect of the psychedelic illustrations of Alan Aldridge (his father).
